It's interesting to do this - look at your work, select the bits you like the most and make notes as to what it is you like about those chosen sections. Are there any similar marks you're drawn to doing, colours you enjoy using or techniques you like and maybe want to explore some more?

- Drawing over paint
- Visual texture and actual texture
- Collage, some found but mainly my own which are usually gelli prints
- Curved lines
- Dry brush strokes
- Pencil marks
- A contrast between translucent and opaque layers
- Lines
- Spots and dots
- Pinks and oranges
I can now take these findings into future work!
