a Yorkshire born artist working from my garden studio creating vibrant, intuitive contemporary art.

 

All throughout my life I have been creative. Making or creating things brings me so much joy. I have always painted too but more so in the last few years discovered my love for acrylic paints and mixed media.

 

Colour plays a big part in my artworks as well as mark making, creating interesting textures, value contrast, building up the layers of paint and adding the finer details.

 

My work is often described as having ‘energy’ and I feel this comes across with the loose brush marks and the intuitive way in which I paint…letting the paint and the marks lead me, remaining fully present and in the moment.
